Jeffrey Jenkins is an artist, designer, and inventor. His early training as a cabinetmaker set the foundation for his design thinking and processes by which he develops new products and experiences. Jenkins holds twelve utility patents for mechanical inventions that provide continual movement in ergonomic seating design and for flexible storage innovations for work and travel. 

Early research that supported the development of these inventions began while Jenkins was completing his Masters Degree in Industrial Design. Another formative experience for Jenkins was in his early product development work on the Propeller Table System for The Knoll Group. 

His work includes furniture design, and interior design for both commercial and residential environments. Jeffrey’s projects have been exhibited in the U.S. and Internationally and have been featured in numerous design publications including Interior Design Magazine, Wallpaper, Metropolis, Print, and How. Jenkins has a number of design awards to his name including The Grand Prize for The Electrolux Kitchen Design Award for his Lyric Kitchen System and the [d] 3 Design Award where his entries were featured during the annual Köln Furniture Fair in Germany.
